mine sticks going forward too... my guess is that the motor doesnt have enough power to move the seat with my fat a$$ on it, cause it works just fine when the seat is empty!

so, my suggestion, move the seat, then sit...
or buy a new motor

Your seat is hung up on your crome curb feelers

Mine goes in all directions except forward. If I loosen the control panel it works, so the contacts/wires need cleaning. I opened it up last year to see, but didn't do anything because I ran out of time.

As far as the issue is about the seat moving forward:
Need new motor. Period.
Any other tinkering only dalys the inevitable.
So buy it while "we" still can...lol!
Because in future, we'll all be living at wreckers...lol!

Secondly, try to cut down on the needless moving forward
or backward: It takes its toll on the short life of the underseat
motor arrangement.

Reason the passenger side outlives the drivers side: Less use!

Hope that 'elps!

funny how I've never had to replace a motor yet out of the several "sticky" seats I've seen. Almost always the drivers seat gets more use and debris fills the tracks:rolleyes:
PERIODS all over the place
