How does the radiator fan switch work?
Does it have an off/on (open/closed) circuit or does it provide a temperature to something else that determines when the fan comes on? I'm thinking the second of these two... but I don't know for sure.
I sold my SC years ago, and now I'm putting a 5.0 HO in a Ranger and looking for an economical way to switch my fan on, preferably using a coolant switch instead of a radiator temp sensor probe thing. It would be nice to find a factory application 3/8" thread sender that would be available anywhere. Summit has a sender for about $20, but it's never in stock!
