Ok, Im getting really pissed here.....I have a brand new relay and accumulator, and i mean brand new as bought and installed yesterday. It got rid of my hard pedal for about 20 minutes and then it got hard again for a few and now it's back to normal. What is going on?? Will low fluid cause a hard pedal because it's a tad low but i don't think it will make a difference. Any help please.......and no "Just swap it for conventional brakes" suggestions please, i have no time to do that..Thanks!!

Sounds a bit steep, but still cheap compared to no brakes.. I would replace it. Your ignition switch could also be the culprit.

You should be able to hear your pump motor run for about 20 - 30 seconds then shut off until you apply the brakes again.....

Or you could give it up and swap out the gimmick.
Put in a standard brake booster and master cylinder and be done with all the electronic stuff that nobody knows how to fix.

I did and couldn't be happier.
