I know its a VW, but take a look at this:

That thing is really really sharp. But after working on some V-dubs....I wouldn't want to own one. They are the goofiest cars ever. VW like to change traditional components just for the sake of change. For instance, most car seats have a lever for reclining. Nope, not on VW, they have a stupid dial that takes forever to recline. The lever is for jacking your seat up.

They don't necessarily "improve" the way a wire harness snaps together, they just make it different. Once you start to work on the cars and have to deal with all of their idiosyncrasies like plastic water pumps, special G12 coolant, special head bolt removal tool, not being able to scan the computer with anything other than a VAGCOM, etc... you will quickly learn to appreciate the more traditional way that cars are built.

One thing is for sure, if you own a VW, you will know the local VW dealer very well because they will be your main source of support.
