Magnaflow Resonator question

I'm getting ready to buy a magnaflow muffler pretty soon to replace my stock resonator. I was thinking about using magnaflow part number 13278, its a 4x9 muffler, with dual 2.25in inputs and single 3in output. It has a 14" body and 20" overall. I figured this one will fit well up there? Is this one a good choice? How will it sound compared to stock setup?

if you're keeping the stock tubing, youll need 2in inlets and 2.5 out. I used one back in the day, can remember the pn

your stock piping will fit better to the 2in inlets and 2.5 oulet resonator. rather than your exhaust guy taking more time to compress and flare the ends of the pipes.

I'll have the performance shop put on reducers, that way down the road when I upgrade the down pipes and mufflers I won't need to rip all of this back out, just cut off the reducers. I'm just asking about the resonator and its size/sound.
