Lobe sequence on camshaft?

panic

Hi - I'm researching use of the 3.8 head on a completely different engine as a hybrid, but having a "senior moment" as to the lobe arrangement.
Traditional Ford design is passenger side ahead, meaning the first valve in the right head is the first lobe, yes?
Is there a call-out (#1 in, #2 ex, blah) for how the lobes are disposed on the shaft?
Thanks in advance for any leads.

here is a picture of my lifter valley. that should help out tremendously. and yes, its pass side forward.

Thanks, but still a puzzle.
Passenger side ahead + 1st port is an intake means the 1st lobe is #1 intake, but which takes precedence: the next valve (#1 exhaust), or the next cylinder (#2 intake)?
Just a guess: a "V" bank offset distance is typically 1 rod width, or about 1", which is much less than the center-to-center distance of 2 valves in the same cylinder, so the next (2nd) lobe should be the #2 intake, yes?
