neurtal safety switch loction

Automatic or manual??

The manual has two of them. One at the clutch pedal and one on the transmission itself. I would presume that the automatic has it at the base of the brake pedal but don't know that for a fact, having never had one.

If you have an automatic transmission, it is on the drivers side of the tranny. Sometimes they are called a "manual lever position switch" or MLPS. At NAPA, they called them a neutral safety switch. They are about half price at NAPA, and they say "FORD" all over them.
