Wish me luck! This weekend (hopefully) I'm going to change the motor mounts and power steering pump and lines. I hope I don't run into any problems, lol, but I'm sure I will.

Pretty much and easy job, just take the front accessory brackets off and your right there. Might as well change the plugs and wire while your there also, alot easier.

We're going to wait until next weekend to do the mounts and power steering. It's just too hot in the shop right now.

Should be about 10 degrees cooler next weekend.

This is the driver's side mount...well, what's left of it! We got the old pressure line out and the new one in, as well as the driver's side motor mount. Tomorrow's project is the passenger side mount and finishing up the power steering. Oh, going to change the thermostat as well and try to get it to stop leaking.

Did the '96/'97 swap a little while back but didn't realize the header panel was missing a chunk when I pulled it at the yard. It didn't affect the mounting but the bumper cover didn't cover it all the way. So, I went back and got another one :) Going to reinstall the front end after I get done with the mounts and PS.

Sounds like what I'm getting ready to do, Just picked up new motor mounts, tranny mount and the power steering pressure line. I think the worn out mounts allowed the engine to break the ps line. I also did the 96/97 swap to my car, but it's a 1990 S/C. I love the new look it has.
This is what it looked like when I got it.
And this is what she looks like now.

Holy Cow man! That's some serious work on that car! Good work though :) I just swapped the hood and headlights onto mine. I prefer my '94 bumpers and no body cladding. Too bad you're not local, or else I'd have you paint my car :)

Getting ready to go back out to the shop and continue the project :)

Well.....either we broke the knock sensor or it was already broken, either way, I need a new one. Aaaand, we broke a socket trying to get the broken knock sensor out lol. So, off to Sears tomorrow to get a new Craftsman socket and I gotta order a knock sensor. Not much progress tonight.
