Ok I see the numbers of A/T and Manual...

But does anyone have the option break down...

#'s by color
#'s with sun roof

etc...

What is the WHITE ELEPHANT of 95 Manual SC's??

example...
a midnight blue 95, sunroof, with certain options... only 5 made

That type of info.

I saw those #s and that is what got me thinking.

how many with specifics?

like finding out there were only 120 built were blue
40 of the blue ones had sunroofs
10 of the blue with sunroofs had leather interior

that would make it 1 of 10 of the 574 Manuals built in 95.

Marti Reports supposedly have the production numbers from Ford's Lorain plant but have yet to release any of the date since it has to be converted from the Ford data format to something that can be used by Marti.

I've been checking their website periodically (www.martiauto.com) and it still says that information on 1980-1999 vehicles will be available soon. It might be a hassel converting the date format, but it's something that they charge for...actually a good bit of money...so I would think it would be beneficial to eventually have them available. I've always been really interested to see how many '93 teals were made, espeically five speeds, considering it's was a very late production 1993 color.

Not relevant but somewhat related:

My friend's uncle worked there for several years.... he told me that about every 5th car down the line was a Super Coupe.

That number sounded high to me so I came up with the following based on the above link and T-bird production info from Wikipedia. I assume my math is right but I can't vouch for the wiki info.

Total Thunderbird production/SC production/Ratio
1989: 122,909/12,809/9.6:1
1990: 114,040/21,809/5.2:1
1991: 84,719/7,039/12.0:1
1992: 75,149/4212/17.8:1
1993: 130,750/3,891/33.6:1
1994: 121,082/2647/45.7:1
1995: 115,397/5741/20.1:1

Which averages out to one sc every 20-21 cars over the seven year run; but in 1990, Kurt's friend's uncle would have been dead on!!!

I am in contact with Kevin Marti personally every six months to inquire about timing for the introduction of the reports for MN12's. Latest response was that they are not ready yet. I am scheduled to touch base with him again at the end of the year. He will contact me directly if/when the reports come on-line prior to that.

Updates are posted periodically by me on the Restoration Forum.

More useful info?
Friend's Uncle also "said" there were only 18 ignition key variations. I didn't buy that.

He did start there when the tooled up for the 83 Thunderbird/Cougar run.

and when his 85 Cougar was built - co-workers added options not on the build sheet and packed the trunk with spare parts.
