took my 93 sc out to the track last night @ PBIR. It was about 86 degrees outside with 100% humidity. first run of the night was 16.68 @ 83mph second run was 16.42 @ 84 mph third run was 16.50-ish..and final run of the night was 16.14 @ 84mph. ALL of the 60' times were 2.45-2.50 seconds.

Car is a white 93, 94 m90 with 14psi of boost. stock I/C. stock diff, auto trans. stock exhaust.

The 16.14 pass was made with the knock sensor disconnected. and footbraking to about 2k rpm on the launch.

My 1996 3.8l cougar ran 16.30's when it was STOCK without a supercharger.

I've been to the track a LOT with my cougar, mustang and blazer, and I tried a few different techniques with the SC. tried leaving it in drive (not o/d). tried doing the double shift to keep it in 2nd gear. tried revving it out to 5500-6k in 1st gear and 5k in 2nd. tried launching at 1500 and 2k. so far the best result was disconnecting the knock, launching at 2k, shifting at 5100 in 1st, 5k in 2nd and going through the traps in 3rd.

Still, I'm pretty surprised at how slow this thing is, and how slow the MPH was. 84mph is reallly sluggish. It didn't feel like it was 'nosing over' when in the high rpm range. like I said, there was no wheel spin at launch...lol, I doubt I could get this car to spin the tires on launch it bogged out so much.

Once you get a cam and some heads on there, you definitely won't have any problems!!

Mine ran a 15.80 whenever it was stock, but exhaust, CAI, and a late model blower, it was down to 14.20s.

Not sure what the issue is. Its been parked since that night. Haven't been interested in driving it much. Maybe Its just time for another motor;) I could always throw a N/A motor in there and go 13's :D
