Bad wheel bearing?

I'm feeling a buzzing sensation through the steering wheel at highway speeds. It kind of feels and sounds like what you expect if you ran studded snows on the front end. It only occurs though when the steering wheel starts to go right of center and gets progressivly worse the further right you turn it. It dissapears entirely when the wheel is returned to center or left of center. My allignment is good and the tires show no uneven wear. I also rotated front to back with no change. Does it sound like wheel bearings?

hmm

I would think wheel bearings would be constant, but you can check them by jacking up each wheel and attempting to pull on the top or bottom. If it moves in & out, at all, its a bearing. This could also be a problem with the front suspension.

Bad wheel bearings sound similar to what you described, like studded tires. It will get louder and louder. It's like an annoying hum. you will hear it as you turn one way and louder at higher speeds.
I just had both my front and rear passenger side replaced.
