failed the first test but, not by much.
HC ppm was 19 with 52 being a pass
CO% was .15 with .29 being a pass
NO ppm was 549 with 385 being a pass
@ 2000 rpm test
curb idle was almost nonexistent in test. easy pass.

by far better this time around than the 3800 NOX readings previous years.

got the guy to do a second test with the plug pulled. i didn't know you can't touch anything under the hood while doing a retest. (guy was yelling at me ) government regulations. so i pretended to close the hood and quickly pulled the plug. idle went down ever so slightly and then stabalized. -the guys never noticed.

second test @ 2000 rpm 2nd gear.
HC ppm 11 with 52 being a pass
CO% was .12 with .29 being a pass
NOx was 187 with 385 being a pass

dilution stayed the same at 14.6
hope this helps anyone having the same troubles with NOx readings.

the spout connection up by the DIS. you wil notice a couple of wires that terminate at a connection with a plug in the end of it. pull that out. but, only for the test and then put it back in when you get down the street.

the plug i pulled is right on top of the dis ignition control module. as far as i know, on the 92's it's the only plug in that location. i thought the octane plug is on fire wall on all these cars. i'll check that out though
