Not sure where to post this question but, here goes.

How many here would use an ebay type Auction System to buy and sell. Completely free to buy and sell? Not to replace SCCoA forum classifiedes but to allow sellers and buyers an easier platform to buy and sell. Lots of options.

I am the admin to the following site and it can be customized specifically for SC cars and parts and services.

http://www.robauction.com/usa/

If there is interest I can have it up in a week. New domain and system running. Completely free, no charges.

And for the guys and gals who have a lot of parts, I can setup the free version software for you to run your own auction system. Free as well.

Any interest ??

I buy a lot of my SC parts on Ebay...this could be very beneficial...like when someone posts that they have parts to sell and everyone is scrambling to purchase, but if there is more order to it, then there is a fair chance for everyone...unless of coarse people don't want to make it fair

First, no one is going to sell SC's for Five Bucks. If anything, the auction process tends to drive up the prices for some parts and cars. Feedback scoring is used and there are Stores too, just like ebay (c) Sites. Except there are NO FEES !!

Its the seller's property, shouldn't it be the seller who has complete control over how they sell ? 100% ?

You can accept CASH TOO !!! for local buys. Try announcing that on an ebay auction and see what happens to your auction account.

Sign up at http://www.robauction.com/usa/ and check out the seller options. Let me know if you want a store for testing on this site and I will setup a store for you.

Any and all ideas and comments are welcomed.

Personally it sounds like a joke, I rather keep parts within the club here at sccoa. We know people pretty well around here and can review and go back the the sellers post to see the history of the item or cars.

My .2 cents.

Appears your last statement may be relevent for those in the "Inner Circle of Members" based on the last post.

For those who will see the benefit your welcome to join in and make some money.

For those who think it is a joke, think again.

Your Anti-Virus program is detecting the Java Scroll Text.

It is not a virus/worm. This a professional program from http://www.bidware.com
