b&m hammer shifters for mustangs require few mods and plus you'll have a better shifter then.

would that B&M fit an auto?

The price on this site is a little high for this knob but I know that you should be able to get one at your local Advance Auto Parts. It works for both Manual and Auto, thought I don't recommend it for gear bangers.

b&m hammer shifter is for an auto. they make 3 differant types, 3speed, 4speed, and the mustang version which fits best but does require some minor mods.

I had a 90 auto with that hammer shifter in it. I think now another Ontario member has the car, not sure if the shifter is still in though. When I had the car it was pretty slick, its a rachet shifter, makes shifting at the track a breeeze:D
