another dumb mafs question?

i have a 80mm mafs for a 98 Taurus sho. could my car be tuned to use this mafs and not have to buy one?

But I wouldn't put it on til you got the bigger TB and MP Inlet Plenum but thats my opinion.

another thing i was thinking about the mafs needs to be tuned when installed.

yea it will help but a bigger tb or mp inlet doesn't really need a tune to be installed so why would it not be a good idea so i wouldn't have to re tune the car for just a mafs install
 
Change the MAF Connector

I only said that so you would have a smoother transition with the air coming in, kind of meaningless if you go from 80MAF to a 70TB. Thats all and I'm sure that you can use that MAF since people been using the Lincoln Mark's 80MAF.
