Well since Kevin's dyno was a bit off last time, I went back for a true number with the 5spd. I did 2 pulls, first one forgot to change the settings in the computer for my weight and stuff, so it was a warm up haha. Heres the sheets.

How do those compare to the numbers you got on Kevin's dyno ?

This was kevin's. It made 248rwhp a few months ago there on 17.5 psi. This pull it made 19.8psi. Anyway, difference of 26rwhp. I doubt the boost did anything for the HP, my best tq ever on this car was 340, so I really improved on that number, probably the extra psi.

what blower and such then?

Its a late model blower I ported with 15% overdrive. If you look around 4300 you'll see a little boost drop, It was odd. Looking back at 4 or so previous pulls from as far back as last year they all drop there:confused:.

So when are you doing heads? I have a cam I can sell you :)

Did you have your car dynoed at the shootout?

neverfastenough

No I did not dyno at the shootout. Heads and cam.....hmmmm. No idea at the moment.

That's the earliest start and finish I've seen on a dyno. Still gotta wonder how much more torque below 2500 before he went WOT. Flat AFR too... tailpipe sensor?

I ran the car on the dyno, yes thats a tail pipe O2. It always has a flat AFR. the car peaked tq at 2651rpm, and I started to pull around there so I guess it was good to start low. And as for finishing early, It as stock longblock, its not going to make anypower past where it did obviously, peak hp was at 4506, I could have let out sooner.

Not bad. Do you know what the intake tems where you might be pulling timing up top if you are producing too much heat, I assume yo only have a single IC?

neverfastenough

I believe the IC is 32x12x3  Doing 3 back to back pulls at 17.x psi last time it never got over 110.

If your interested I could have a set of heads and a cam for ya. That is if your interested:) Same type of heads i am running on my car but with stock valves. If you had larger valves they would just need to be unshrouded for the oversized valves versus the unshrouding done for the stock size.

The car is getting rockers before any other modifications.:(
