SC rebuild question

I pulled the snout off and removed the nut, pulley and seal. I tried to pull the keyway off but its stuck on there good. The instructions say to drive the shaft out with a plastic hammer but I cant get it to budge. What am I missing?

WD-40 ? Try a light lubricant.

So I am suppose to hit the drive on the side with the threads and drive it out the back right?

just dealt with this....

U need a press/ram, hammering will most likely get you nowhere...
it rusts or corrodes and is really stuck.

Thought about that but wasn't sure if it would crack the snout housing. Will give that a try.

if u support it at the bottom/base well, you should be ok.
spray it down with blaster, good luck!
