Not that I really want them. But has anyone tried 20's Cant do a search for 20"

There is a local guy selling some nice rims that may just be nice for shows but I know the offsets will be off SPacer perhaps?

20x10= Offset: +50mm (2") Backspacing: 7.4" (189mm) Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm)

20x9= Offset: +35mm (1.4") Backspacing: 6.4" (162mm) Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm)

That's right. Just need to see about offsets and what to do

Fronts will be ok but the rears will give you a problem on the sway bars and ebrake cable. 50 will tuck in the rears too much. Spacers will be needed.

Ill probably do some 20s also soon on the anniversary.

I have 20's on my 94 SC, I've had no issues with them. Makes you very aware of the road surface however. I beleive I know where every pothole is at in Roanoke.

So what kind of a spacer are we talking about on the rear?

No issues what so ever. I've been running my 20's for a year. Try and get a hold of Ed Nicolson, super nice guy and can help pick the right fit.

superbuytires.com has hundreds of 20"s for our sc's in the 4/ 1/4 bolt pattern ....

But they don't have em for 500 bucks with great tires!

Its the size offset I mentioned above or not at all..like I sid it only be for show anyway..can drive around with 20"s here

Shoot for $500 I'd be on em. My tires alone cost more than $500...

I have an overabundence of rims already. But 20" cragers may look real sweet

Not a big fan of spacers and aftermarket wheels anymore .. :rolleyes:

If you do spacers, make sure they are custom machined to be hub centric on the hub side and wheel side - Not sure if extended lug studs are available, I was able to use ARP's on my GM when I went through similar issues on 20's ..

Dont buy wheels if they dont have the perfect offset / bolt pattern or you will be sorry.

Actually the proper spacers dont cost all that much considering price of rims

Really ? Go for it and let me know how they work out with your $500 wheels.

Damon you should be shooting for about 40-42mm offset for the rears. If these are 50mm then you need spacers that are about 8-10mm to bring the wheels out. You will need roll the fenders regardless.

I have 285's out back..They are already rolled!

Technically its the rear quarters. You bend the part that folds in on the quarters. Thus rolling them to give you about half an inch of clearence also allowing you not to cut/slice the tire when it makes contact.

OK i know what your talking about now.

What do you have for offset on your car? I'm going to be buying wheels soon and I'm looking for a very aggressive fitment.

I have 18x9 Fronts with a 38mm offset and small spacers. 35mm would have been ideal but thats what I had to work with. Rears are 18x10 42mm offset They fit well I have 285 in the rears. Rubs slightly on really low dips if I have weight in the car. The right side of our cars seem to stick out more then the left side on the rears. Not sure why. But you can see the right sticking out more then the left. :eek: weird.

Steve Whitley (sp) has had them for a while. This is the only picture I can seem to find of his car right now though:

Here are some of the pictures I was thinking about. These were before he had the car painted. I remember thinking at the time, "Man, those actually look pretty good!"

I feel like the fronts dont need to be that big and a front air dam seems to be needed to. But for the rear the 20s look at home.

I wonder how it would look if one does it like the Corvettes and do smaller front and larger rears.

Like 18s in the front and 20s in the back.

Ill be doing Black deep dish cobra Rs on my other car. But still torn as to just go 18s again.

I'm pretty sure the wheelwells on a c5/c6 were built to accomidate the staggered size wheels. I remember Brad Doer (sp) ran 18 inch Bullets in back and 17 inch bullets in front of his T-bird and I didn't really care for it. They just looked off a bit.
