Speed limits by state:

Texas and Utah have 80 mph sections already.

New England is still at 65mph on rural interstates and 55 on urban interstates.
65MPH on most rural interstates here is real useless here. Most people are not getting ticketed for that unless they're driving stupid or in the HOV lane when they're not supposed to be. More then 2/3 of the drivers here are way beyond 65 except when it snows. Maybe in a few more years things will change as some of the legacy automobiles depreciate.

That figures I retire and they raise the truck limit in Illinois to 65, and you know I never went over the limit. Well just 105 in New mexico once but that was it.

heck, we already run that here and the troopers usually dont pay you much attention. What gets you caught here is erratic driving, sudden lane changes and just plain stupid moves that draws attention. Of course in over 25 years driving this country in a class 8 vehicle, thats usually the norm for most states. Speed doesnt kill stupidity does, you can die just as easy at 5mph as you can 100. S
