(Partially) cleaning out the garage

3.5" OD 57" u-joint to u-joint Al driveshaft, should be for a 4r70w, not sure about AOD. I switched to an M5R2, so I would need to have this cut down to use. Make an offer. I assume I can just wrap the ends for shipping...

FYI: I'll keep the driveshaft is there isn't much demand and cut er down / rebalance later.

Is that an aftermarket driveshaft or a Mark VIII?

I'm pretty sure it is aftermarket, it looks too beefy to be stock. The Al used to balance it is ~3/16" thick. I got it from Jason L Marsh in OK city, he might have more details.

Also, it measures 57"

From the group purchase Al driveshaft thread:

Info on various shaft lengths
94-97 3.8L 4R70W 57" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")
89-95 3.8L M5R2 53.80" driveshaft (M5R2 overall length 35")
89-93 3.8L AOD 57.80" driveshaft (AOD overall length 31")
94-97 4.6L 4R70W 58.20" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")
93-98 Mark VIII 4R70W 58.20" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")
94-04 Crown Vic 4R70W 55.50" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")

So it can't be from a mark8

I would also be interested in a set of eibach springs, 1-1/8 rear sway bar, 10% OD crankshaft pulley, shocks, one of Ken's intercoolers, BHJ balancer. That's probably it for trades.

that looks like an alternator pulley. doesnt look like its keyed either.

dont think it would fit on our superchargers.

F, yeah, I bet your are right. Sorry, it was in the cabinet by itself. I didn't get the alt pulley put on with the rest of the AL pulleys because I had to make a spacer. I'll delete. Thanks for the good catch!

man that could have been catastrophic... just think if someone bought it and successfully mated it to the m90

What od are you running on the AR now? I don't think anyone with a AR is running a 10% crank pulley.

Yeah they are, but I'll double check with sparky first. 10% js and the small pulley. I got a system to regulate boost on the high end that I wanted to play with, but I need more overdrive to do it.

Sure. Tell me what you are thinking.
Let me check with sparky first on the OD, but I don't see a reason why not to use it. I think I might need to swap to a 8 rib setup or something.
