I dropped off the 94 SC block off at the machine shop.
Tomorrow I will drop off 3 cranks for them to use the best one to use. I also will be dropping of the 94 rods and ARP rod bolts.

Ack, The block has been previously been bored and the bores are to large for the pistons I wanted to use. Time to find another SC block.

Ask Dave Scott, I have that short block of his in the garage on his engine stand, he might let it go. It's got new internal parts in it.

I still have a package from Summit...un-opened for you. I will never use that stuff, unless my teeth get really annoying and I just grind them down one evening....

I was thinking of porting up another set of heads, do you want to sell the stuff?

No, You can have them as long as the offer still stands. I bought the stuff for you anyway. Just keep forgetting to give it to you. I havent even opened the box...What did you come up with on a block?

Trying to work a trade.

So......I'm guessing you're going to port a set of heads for a sc block, sounds like the other Chesapeake sc stang wants some heads.......just a guess...

I decided instead of waiting to use the heads that are currently on my car, I would port the 94 heads, which would be installed on the engine going into a future sc stang. I may end up selling the other heads at a later time.

That makes sense, on this set you can port them a little more now that you have more knowledge.

If it clears up tomorrow I'm going to go to the junkyard and look for a 94 -97 abs computer from a t-bird/cougar with abs but no traction control. I believe I could also get one from a 93 t-bird/cougar since they had the same abs system. I've decided to go with Daves idea and mount some of the gauges in the VMM location but I've got to be able to eliminate/turn off permanately the traction control. Other than that I just won't have a firm ride light, don't care about low fuel, low coolant, low washer or door ajar lights.

You can jumper the connector to turn trac control off permanently. Don't ask me which wires cause i don't remember.

Keith, did you ever buy a 1994 EVTM? If you have one I can disable it for you. Just need the Electical Schematic to figure out what wires are what...

So with that schematic you can turn off the traction assist permanently without me having to buy an ABS module, correct?

According to that schematic, you need to jump the Gray wire to the Pink and Orange wire, in the connector, to default the Abs Module to default the traction control.....Is the off light indicator on the display or on the switch itself? I ask for verification purposes. If its on the switch you will not be able to visibly verify it and will have to take it out and try it...If it is on the diplay with the other dummy lights you will be able to verify it before disassembling the rest to install the gauges.

Trac off light is on the switch. On my car i just left the circuit board with the lights in the dash and wired up some led's to put on the plate with the gauges. I have 2 gauges there with the lights in the between the gauges.

Here's pics of my setup. Its clear now but am planning on painting it black and maybe etch a bird in it and back light it. I just used my moms P TOUCH machine to make the lables for the lights.

....Damn.........that's a bright light.

I plan on sticking the oil pressure and water temp gauges down there. Since I'll have a boost/vacuum gauge in the pillar pod I'm sticking a stock LX volt gauge in the dash along with a LX gauge surround plus I'll make filler pieces to cover up the stock water temp and oil gauges since the won't be operational.

I'm just going to install a '93 ABS module I'm getting from Tim Groth. That way I don't have to jump nothing, just a plug and play deal.
