Cam sensor wiring

Hi everyone,
I searched briefly on the subject, but i was unable to locate any relevant information. I'm at a loss and really don't know what else to do, so any help would be appreciated.

I have an aftermarket engine controller, and it has a shielded pair of wires to the camshaft position sensor:
1. a sensor ground
2. a return signal wire

Almost all of the literate I have found about camshaft position sensors are 2 wire (Magnetic) or 3 wire (hall effect) sensors, but there are 4 wires on the stock cam position sensor. The 4 wires are:
1. RED/LT GRN
2. DK GRN
3. PNK/BLK
4. LT BLU

What do I need to do to make this thing work?

Currently I have:
+12V connected to RED/LT GRN
cam sensor ground (from controller) hooked to DK GRN
return signal connected to the PNK/BLK

If it helps anyone, the chiltons manual shows the following:
1. RED/LT GRN --->ICM(DIS) pin 1
2. DK GRN --->PCM Pin 24
3. PNK/BLK --->ICM(DIS) Pin 2
4. LT BLU ---> PCM Pin 16

If someone can hook a meter to their connector with the key on and tell me which pins have +12V or 0V I guess that would be a great place to start. If they could hook a scope to the wires and tell me which one sends out the signal, that would be even better. Thanks.

nevermind, I got it!

For future reference:

LT BLU: Sensor Ground
DK GRN: Not Used
RED/LT GRN: +12
PNK/BLK: Signal
