I'll probably drop the Mark 8 aluminum driveshaft off at Gregorys machine shop this week to get it shortened and balanced, they charge $80. Just one more thing out of the way.

Getting the fabrication shop at work to make me a couple of aluminum spring perches for the Mark 8 lower control arms. They won't be as fancy as the those high $$$ machined billet ones but every bit as functional.....They'll cost me the price of a lunch......:D

Good deal. I dropped off the mark 8 driveshaft today at Gregorys. I took them just the bare driveshaft and the steel stock one not knowing that they needed the yokes also. He said that they balance the driveshaft with yokes/u-joints installed so i rode back home and picked them up. Total cost for cut/u-joints/balance is $115.

Rode by Pick N Pull sun. morning and saw my old '89 sc in a row..............:D

For what, I don't know because it was just a shell when it left my house. It does have almost brand new upper controls arms, good hood and doors/glass, that's all I can think of worth salvaging.
