Is it possible to replace the impellers in my supercharger ? My unit makes a lot of noise. I took it off to see if I could see anything. I haven't seen any one like this. The port on the back is not oval or rectangle ether

What does the port on the back look like? Pictuers would help.
Also, the noise is usually from a failed coupler in the snout. However, a better description of the sound would help.

It,s back on the car now but the port is kind of rectangular but its much wider on the bottom.I think its a aftermarket or something. Also on the bottom they welded both sides to have enough material there because it has been ported. maby I will take it off I know something is wrong. But dam its fast now. I drove it a couple of times with out the supercharger belt on it.

Wait, it's fast now, and you don't have the SC belt on?

As far as the SC goes...I agree with nickleman. By chance, it doesnt come to a point at the top of the inlet does it? As in, the port looks like a triangle somewhat? If so, it's definitely one of manny's.

didnt think one could drive these cars without SC functioning.

Manny is a guy who apparently used to do good custom porting and stuff, but lately has been less than acceptable work...thats all I know...he has a post in PARTS FOR SALE right now I think.

Yes, you can drive with the SC belt off, You just wire the bypass open...., but im not sure you even need to know that

2nd that car drives just "fine" with out the blower. Just like a N/A 3.8 with 8:1 compression.
