anyone do front wheel bearings on our sc's? got some humming coming from the front and a slit viberation so i am thinking its time to change?

dang i hate those. depending on how bad it is you, you might be better off getting a spindle from the bone yard. otherwise thats a great job to take to a machine shop.

make sure thats the problem though, ive had some cars come in the shop that the customer insisted the bearings went out, and it came to be that the rotors where so chewed up i had to beat them off with a huge hammer and dump them in the scrap metal. so check your rotors, brake pads, and dust cover around rotors before moving right into the bearings. also to help check for bearings, jack the front end up and have someone wiggle the wheel while your under it observing. if it wiggles track the wiggle, if you have to get a small hose, put it in your ear and touch the other end on all the surfaces to track the bad component.
