Upper cable on TB bracket - cruise control?? (94)

Stupid questions I guess, but here goes... what's the cable on top of the throttle cable for on the late model cars? It runs from the bracket to the front of the DS fender. Is that for cruise?

Pretty sure that is vacuum assist for the cruise control.

Not vacuum, but a cruise control cable.

Doesn't that go to the vacuum assist that's contained in the fender?

It's an electric servo....

From the shop manual:

Speed Control System
The speed control system consists of:

speed control servo (9C735)
speed control actuator cable (9A825)
vehicle speed sensor (VSS) (9E731)
horn relay and bracket (13853)
speed control actuator switch (9C888)
stoplight switch (13480)
deactivator switch (Part of 2B091)
brake pressure control valve (2B091)
air bag sliding contact
The system operates independently of engine vacuum, therefore no vacuum lines are required.

The speed control servo:

is mounted under the LH front fender (16005), forward of the wheel.
connects to the throttle linkage with a speed control cable.
integrates system electronics, eliminating the need for any other speed control electronic modules.

This is interesting. They must have changed it for the 94/95. Maybe because of the airbag. Didn't the earlier years use vacuum? There is a vacuum line that went from my plenum into the fender. I knew it was for cruise, so I never put it back on.

Edit: I hope it was for cruise....
