Wheel movement does not seem right?

Hello,
This past week I had my SC up on stands, and was turning the rear wheels while tightning the bolts that hold the driveline to the pumkin. I noticed strange movement like the lugs were loose. I checked, and they were tight but movement was still there. I put my hands on the top, and the bottom of the tire, and pushed with alternating pressure and noticed a lot of play. The wheel on the rear passenger side of the car is nice and snug without any play at all.
Any ideas on what the problem could be would be helpful.
Thanks,
D Rainer

Problem

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me. If your wiggle the tire on the vertical plain (top & bottom) and it moves it is your wheel bearing Provided that nothing in your control arms are moving also.

Thanks Guyz

Hello,
Thanks for the suggestions.
Would anyone happen to have the part # for the berings?
Can I just swap them out, or do they need to be pressed in?
I have never looked to see what is going on in there he he.
I'll have to take a better look at things in the morning.
Thanks again,
D Rainer

yeah, I have the old box for mine somewhere, you need at least a 20 ton press to remove them, make sure you remove the retaining clip first if the bearings do need replacing. The more salt used in winter around your area, the bigger the press you will need:D (a 12 ton press might work)
