I'm looking at getting a set of Sumitomo HTRZ-II's in 235-60-16 for my
new powdercoated SC wheels.
If anybody has any experience with these tires, please pass on your
feedback!
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

I have a set on one of my SC's...I had them since spring ~6000 miles on them maybe. The ride very smooth, very quiet, have decent traction on dry pavement and did VERY well on snow & mud. :D

A Z-rated tire did VERY well on snow?

Do you have any pictures on your SC with these tires?

Oops...I'm sorry. I got a different tire!! I got the HTR H4 tires. I was confused because I was thinking about buying the HTRZ II's for my other SC, but I ended up buying some Michelin's that were on clearance (Tire Rack)

Speaking of Tire Rack, you should sheck out the reviews for this tire on their website. I too, would also be interested in how well these HTRZ II's would do on an SC...might buy some for my wife's Mustang

I have been running HTRZ II's on my '89. good "showie" looking tire for a cheap price. Quiet, runs great. Good traction on dry roads. Not a lot of wet traction.

Great tire, just hope you are getting a killer deal on a old discontinued tire.

I can get Goodyear Eagle GT's in 225-60-16 from TireRack for $415
shipped. With mounting/balancing total would be about $475-$485.

I was at Discount Tire today, & they were willing to discount them
down to $495 out-the-door. Plus, if I set up a new charge card, I
will receive a $50 rebate! That makes the total only $445. The card
is 6 months interest-free, so I can leave my money in the bank for now!

Looks like this will be the new tires for my powdercoated SC wheels!!:D

If anybody has any feedback on this newer Goodyear Eagle GT, I would
greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
Jeff
