What is this part located on steering column.

I have no idea what this is or what is does, i found it laying on the floor in the 5 spd car. The car that i pulled the dash didnt have it.

Stuck 3F719 in Google and found that it's the basic number for an Ignition/Shifter Interlock Cable.

I'm not sure what it does. Bet someone here will know.

It's the solenoid that unlocks the shifter from PARK when you press the brake.

HA, thanks, i guess that why the 5 spd car doesnt have it installed on the column and the auto does.
