Front Speakers

I am going to replace my speakers. Do I need to remove the door panels to access the speakers or can I just pop off the covers.

in the front you have to take off the door panels to get the speakers out. In the rear, the covers just pop off very easy.

Also, unlike some fords & other cars, the SC does not have those plastic white pins to hold the panels on. Instead there are hooks, and a couple of screws. After removing the necessary screws from the armrest & interior door light, just push up on the door.
