Clutch Pedal Travel

Is the pedal play a product of the pressure plate or the hydraulics.

My XR, based on the records has less than 20m miles on it. Make unknown. It has what I consider little pedal travel and engagement feels like 1" of pedal from rolling to hold. I am used to a more feathered feel. Leg pressure is light to medium.

My SC parts car still has the OEM clutch and disc after 150m miles, a great "leg" pressure (some resistance)and some travel for feathering.

I'm thinking of having it checked and reinstalling with a new disc in the XR.

Will I get the OEM feel because of pressure plate or are my XR hydraulics going to turn it into the same "feel" as I have- and don't like

Or is it the signature of worn out springs in the pressure plate and or disc.

PS OEM disc shows even wear as does flywheel.

not sure about the oem clutch, but i have had the spec stage 2 and now the centerforce duel friction and both had very short engagement travel. its just something i got used to.
