ARP Moly Lube...

Goes on the nut end of the stud. I put some in the insides of the nuts too. I also spread some on the washers. The nuts on the top of the stud is where your torque reading comes from, that's why you use the ARP lube on them.
 
I believe the lube goes on the block side of the stud, plus the top head studs are soaked in oil under valve cover...

No need for lock tight
 
You can use lock tite on the block side of the threads if you want to. The ARP Moly Lube is for the NUT SIDE though. The purpose of the moly lube is to reduce the friction between the threads when you torque down the head nuts. Without the moly lube on the top of the studs and on the nuts, you will get a false torque reading when your are torquing them down.
