Wanted: Plate or storage bin

Can't find a plate or storage bin to fill this in, I'm sick of looking at this old Land Rover deck :eek:

I can't find anything locally.... yet.
 
stock is a CD player, or a cubby hole. If you search around, a 80's Taurus cup holder set will fit in there.
 
Perfect! Just what my car needs, not very easy (or legal) to try and drive a stick shift with a coffee in one hand and a smoke in the other...

Would the Taurus cup holder get in the way of the stick?
 
go to the scrap yard for the cup/coin holder from a contour/taurus
it fits perfectly in the cd player slot

for best performance - (because your cup may fall out if you don't) swap the coin tray for the cup tray so your cup slot is on top of the coin tray otherwise your cup will bottom out on the ash tray...

and cause your roll up cup to roll down... your leg...

Been there with a vent cup holder from CT.... that ended up someware on the 401 in many, many pieces.
