Only if rapper33142 (JR) will let me drive it.....:p

Then, if I am lucky, I can finally start on my project SC....

Why wouldn't he let you drive it?

And you make it sound like you only have ONE project SC. I'm not so sure that's the case :p

Right now, I have at least 3 projects "waiting" out back....

JRs car should be completed soon....

Two other SCs are in need of desperate repairs.....:p

Then I can start on one of my projects....:D

You guys missed a good one last weekend running the Cherohala Skyway. I finally have my 89 XR7 on the road but won't make it to Atlanta this weekend, just a little too far for a lunch meet.
There will be a bunch of Tbirds from tccoa in Charlotte this weekend for the Auto Fair.
There's an autocross, 15 minutes from my house on Sunday, that I'm tempted to go to but I need to get one more car on the road before I thrash the 89 too hard.
We should look for events to go to that we can all meet at to make any long distance travel more likely.
I got one email about the Atlanta lunch but that's it. How many people are going? If it's going to be a huge turnout I'd probably consider going.

I would have loved to have went to the Cherohala Skyway run, but it was about 4 hours from me and y'all rolled out between 9-10am. Heh. I saw some pictures and it looked like a ton of fun :)

I've emailed Mike back and asked if he had an idea of how many were coming to the lunch meet tomorrow, just waiting to hear back. I didn't realize that the Charlotte Auto Fair was this weekend, so there might be a pretty low turnout for the lunch meet. If it's going to be too low I won't attend. I've got some landscaping and garden stuff I could do instead. The weather is supposed to be perfect for either though.

We had 8 people show last weekend which is a really good turnout for us. I didn't post it since I send out an email but some of you may not be on my list. JR, if you do a meet there in the Augusta area, I'll do my best to show up. I'm replacing my rear halfshafts this weekend, maybe my gears too, but I'll be ready to run again in a couple of weeks. Our next meet will probably be in Smyrna next month at Jim & Nicks Bar-B-Q. If anybody didn't get an email for last weekend, let me know and I'll add you to the list.

Mike, when does your drag race season start and what day/time is it?

Mike Puckett

The season has started but we've only run once and our Apr 24th race was canceled due to repaving the track. We don't run again till May 29th. Time trials start at 1:30 and eliminations at 4:30. We're usually finished up 9ish. Check the Atlanta Dragway website for the schedule. I only run the Summit ET series right now and Road Atlanta isn't till late Nov. This weekend I'm swapping out the rear halfshafts and knuckles and probably I'll put in the 3.73 pumpkin I've got so my SC won't be going anywhere. I'll probably finish it up next weekend.
