Thanks for the help on rebuilding hinges!! This is a great site
So are there any tips on removing the door hinges on a 94 sc.
Thanks in advance

Set aside 8hrs and have a helper, apply masking tape to the quarter panel and door to help reduce scratches.

Well dosent that sound like a perfect birthday present for junior. It sounds like a cut off wheel and the torch may speed it up a little. I have a habbit of taking hole saws to things to make bolts a little easerto git to. Nothing a little 1" knock out cover wouldnt handle:mad:
No special tricks ?

With one of the nuts being inside the structure it is a pain to get to, have to remove a good portion of the dash to get to it.

Are you sure you need to remove these things? To get the pins out, the most you will need to do is remove the door from the outer hinge part. You don't need to take the inner hinge off unless it is really wrecked.

Yessir. Just cut through the hinge pins, knock the remnants out, and put the new stuff in. It's pretty easy, really.

You should just mark the exact position of the hinge on the door, make sure you have a good support nearby so you don't stretch the door wiring, and have a helper around to help you maneuver the door.
