To change rear gears or not?

I've got over a month off before I race again and was planning on swapping out my rear halfshafts and knuckles because the wheel bearings are quite worn and getting noisy. I have a 3.73 pumpkin that I was planning on putting in at some point. While I have the halfshafts out would be an excellent time to do this but I was wondering how will it affect my quarter mile times compared to the 3.55's I'm running now. I'm currently running 13.2's which will probably fade to the 13.3's in the heat plus it runs very consistent varying only .1 sec or so during the day. I have a 13.0 minimum for the Sportsman class I run in. So my questions are, will this change drop me back into the 12.9's and will it affect my consistency from round to round?
