To put a line lock on these cars you need to do two of them. You have to put one on each front wheel line. The best place is where you can get at the line best. On most cars this will be at the wheels or near the master, but after the abs control valve. This is under the drivers fender in the front if it is not built into the master. On the early cars everything was on the master, but later cars have the valve located as I have said. Be sure to get two units that are the same and hook them up with one switch. The best place for the switch is the shifter handle, but you can try what works for you. I hope this works for you and again I hope Dave is not mad at me for helping out here....Rich

When you are ready to purchase solenoids, do not get complete kits, get only the solenoids. They go for about $40-$50 each.

Then keep this in mind. You do not want to cut your stock lines. Instead you can lengthen the lines and mount the solenoids wherever you want. This will have no affect on the system's performance.

The stock lines are 10mm, and the aftermarket solenoids are going to be either NPT pipe or 1/8 SAE brake lines, so you will need to get adapters. They are available at any auto parts store like NAPA. As are brake line extensions.

With the older brake systems (I believe your 92 is one of them), it is easy to catch the lines where they go into the ABS master cylinder. The system has two front lines and one rear. Just follow the line that goes to the pressure switch on the drivers fame rail. That is the rear one, use the other two.

If you want to drag race your SC there is no other way in my opinion. One of your best investments ($125).

so i can just put the solenoids right on the master...side by side? I dont have to put them in the fender well? This seems like it makes it so much easier.

If your 92 has the integrated master and ABS unit you can do that. If it is a normal master with the seperate ABS, then no. I'm not sure what year they changed over, mine are all the old integrated style.

ya...i have 3 lines coming off the master...and one of the lines leads to a pressure switch that is mounted on the drivers side frame rail. I assume that one is for the rear...since its going to the back of the car...lol.
