I see a few have swapped to the Mark 8 LCA, what's the advantage?

i think its to save weight.

other then that im not sure..

Ditto. When you clean up the LCA's, and get all of that oxidation white crap off of it, they look good.

93-98 Mark 8 LCA's are all the same. You do need to install some spring perches in them because Mark 8's had airbags and T-birds have springs.

i wonder if theres any supercoupes putting around with airbags in the rear?

would be for a comfy ride?? anyone done this?
hows the ride?

Aftermarket air suspension ?? Yeah, we've been doing that for almost 10 years in Tbirds at www.baggedbirds.com.

We dont re-use the lincoln rear bags, they are junk.

Not as stiff as the SC with the Firm ride on, but yes, comfortable - Cadillac / Lincoln feel.
