Not in the SC though :(. My buddy is really into road racing and since he was up at Thunderhill, he invited me to ride along. I thought, sure, we'll go slide around a track a little and call it a day. Man was I wrong. I think I will be switching what I set my car up for after that experience. He has an Acura NSX, and I also got a ride in a Porsche GT2 Cup car and there was a Ferrari F360 there :D (although I didn't get a ride in it).

I could not believe that a car on street tires could be taken into a corner that hard and not spin out. It was a real eye opener for me. Just thought I'd share that ;).

I rode in a GT350 there as well
Me and Aaron P. where thinking of running our SC there at one time Dan Fodge a Cobra builder and exp road racer said our cars suspenshion is perfect for that type road racing

Its a neat track now they have the back section open the GT350 stuck to the corners so tight it was a blast

You Rascal,
Glad you had fun. So does that mean there is an Acura in the future?

No, I can't afford an NSX, but I can afford a Miata. I hate the fact that they are so "girley" looking, but for a great handling car, with a lot of after-market parts available and a cheap initial investment cost, I think that is where I will start.

Thunderhill is a lot fo fun. I have helped a couple of friends out there on "test & tune" fridays. I have actually run my cougar out there twice, it was just on the parade lap. If you just go real slow and let traffic get way ahead then you can have some fun (until you catch the traffic again). Jim you had mentioned Dan Fodge, I was at Sears Point a few years ago. He (Dan) had just finished a GT40 replica. He was there to test & tune & deliver it to its new owner. Unfortunately He slammed it into the wall near the start finish line. It was not a pretty sight.
