This is neat to find out
and interesting to know what is the most Horsepower and Cubic Inch car you ever driven race or street?
My most powerful I ever driven is my Blown Alcohol 57tbird 526 c.i AR Boss all aluminum Ford Hemi 2500hp and a friends 68 Mustang with a 496 c.i Ford all tube chassis 850hp with one carb
I have two supercharged tbirds the Big Boy Boss and my little tiny 3.8 I ben around tbirds all my life
This helps to know more about us SCer's

the biggest CI and strongest car I have driven is a Ford Tempo, wow look at my d*** grow:rolleyes:
That Tempo must've had all the options. ;)
Sr. year of high school I had a '78 Firebird Espirit. This is a base model that had no shaker hood or anything. Very plain, but not too bad looking a car. The previous owner had swapped out the stock 305 for a 455 out of a GTO. Man, that was tight. On top of that, it was a peg leg. Useless in the rain, and no traction. Pretty fast once it stopped spinning, surprised a lot of people. Only race I lost was to a buddy of mine in an '87 GN. I knew I'd lose, but wanted to see how I'd do. Not good. I've wanted a GN ever since.

Jim, it was a while back for me. I drove a friend's 1967 Shelby GT 500. It was an automatic with an overkill engine. It was a 428 bored and stroked, 2 comp built Holleys, and 430 gears. The thing had a cam in it that made the car literally bounce up and down at a stop light. It had 2 electric fuel pumps to keep it running. No lie when he turned one off the car died. It got 7 miles to the gallon on the highway and 3 in town but it beat a hemi GTX, just barely. We more than pegged the speedo. I wish I knew what the cubic inch was for that motor. Almost bought the thing too but it wasn't to be. I rode in a stock Boss 429 and wasn't impressed. The fastest car I have ever ridden in was a 67 Mark GT40 at Willow Springs in 80 I think it was. Don't even know how fast we went on the straight. I was loving the view too much. :-)
Wow, I'm just amazed at the cars you've ridden in! Very nice list there. Gotta love the old Mustangs, especially.

Not as fortunate as you guys..........the car with the most HP i've ever driven is stock 98 Corvette..........I also been on the hunt in a Viper, but did not drive:(

most power 69 dart 500 cid stageV hemi head conversion 6-71 dyers blower never dynoed it but turned better than 15s in 1/4 he he .biggest cid cant remember, slowest car was a deisel rabbit

i drove my dads friend's 69 camaro with a 520 in it runs low 10s w/o n20 at 4500 elevation only drove it to the stageing lanes but hey it counts haha

I'm weak. Most HP was a 1978 Dodge Lil Red Express Truck I test drove once. 225hp
It's more interesting for me to look at HP per Liter.
78 Express Truck: 38.07hp/liter
89 T-bird SC (dyno'ed last year): 49.73hp/liter
1984 Honda 500 Interceptor: 136hp/liter
Maybe that's why I had so much fun on that Honda?

97 Acura NSX-T, with built motor and comptech supercharger. My cousin turned 11.01 in this v6 car. Not bad for a vtech six.

Fastest car ive ever driven, would be my grand prix, and biggest motor (462, 455 "30 over). Fastest car ive ever been in was my buddy's camaro below. 73 camaro, 505 big block chevy on alcohol, mechanical fuel injection, powerglide and 9" with 4.56's. He's never WOT with me in it, thank god. Not a bad car for a kid thats 21, plus he has a GN. Anyway, those are some sweet cars Jim. Why are u worried about being number one with an SC when u have a bird like that at home?

Does a F14 count??? I was at the controls,but it would be a bit hard to take it to Woodward for a cruse,and the car hops at A&W are still looking for a spot to put the tray...As far as cars go,fastest or the most likey to kill you,that is the question...How about a 70 Bronco with a glass body,543 cubes,TWO stages of NOS and a lot of other things to drive you crazy..A blown 612 in a 90 S.C. bird is crazy as well. Or for the more pure at heart, a 67 Fairlane or Comet Both with med. riser 427 N.H.R.A. legal Super Stock cars..The list could go on but then it would be braging and that is not good to do. As far as horse power ##'s who knows or cares,How fast you can get from here to there is the real point of all this stuff. If the car is nothing but a trailer QUEEN "and a couple of mine are" then what good is it?? Only when you sell them are they good for something,THE $$$$... thats enough now,let someone else go for it....Rich

well the car with the most hp or fastest car ive ever driven was my sc (im thinking about 250hp crank based on my 1/4 et's)
now the sad part... car with most cubes ive driven was either a friends 88 xr7 5.0 non high output 302, or my grandmas 1979 caprice classic with a 305, take your pick :lol

The largest motor I've ever driven was a 460 that was bored and stroked to 512CID. It had a vortech T trim and a 300 shot on N2O. It was't very quick because it would just spin the tires, but I got to drive it....fast, went 165mph.
quickest car i've ever driven was a Gen I RX-7 with a 302 BOSS motor dropped in....0-60 was about 4 seconds.

I have a few on my list.I come from an all ford background so, a 71 Boss 302 bored 30 over with an 850 holley dbl pumper and a 4 speed. 68 cougar eliminator 7.7 auto, A 90 mustang 5.0 lx with a kenny bell blower with a full steeda race suspension, I have rode in a 96 saleen 351 sc around watkins glen (my buddy is an instuctor there) and an assortment of other 5.0s and turbo coupes and of course my cat. my list is pretty big as i sit here and think about it. gt40 kitcar with a 5.0 5-speed(shifting on the door is an experience) thats good enough for now...Bill

Heh, the vehicle with the largest cubic inch engine has to go to a
thomas school bus specially optioned with a 9.5L V-8 turbodiesel.
Makes about 100hp, but 1200lb ft of torque. Heh. That nasty a$$ is powerfull enough to tow another one of it's kind out of 2 FT. of dried mudd. Nasty.
Now, fastest car I've driven? That, hands down would have to go to Duffy Floyd's (Formerly Spiro's) 1990 Red SC. With all the goodies and 5-speed, that was one sick car. Moved, like a bat out of hell but idles like a kitten.

Cobra kit car with a blown 460 and a 125 shot of nitrous......never had more fun in a car....also drove a modded Hiyabusa once....205hp, 450lb....stopped scarring myself at 185. Have you ever gone 0-100 in 4.8sec? :eek:

14 years old back in 83' Albuquerque, NM(LA presently) had a 75 Cadillac Sedan Deville with a 501 and no driver's license. Biggest, longest SOB in town with sh--y gas mileage. Loved that car!
