is it ok to press out the jackshaft bearing, regrease it then press it back in?

Thanks,
Chris

Sealed bearing.....if you have an issue you better start looking for a used replacement. There are no aftermarket replacements found yet (that are still in stock and purchasable)

alright ill leave it alone then. I wanted to clean the bracket in the parts washer at work and didnt want to mess up the bearings.

thanks,
Chris

Just spray it off with some brake cleaner. I had mine bead blasted without any damage to the bearings or seals, a little duct tape covering made it possible

I had the bearing pressed out, chromed the bracket, and then pressed back in. The guy who did it said it was easy to press out and back in.

Here are a few pics. The water pump and timing cover were done the same way, and they have about a 1000 miles on them. They are super easy to wipe clean yet, excuse the rest of the engine bay mess...still in mid process of this years upgrades :p
