Need suggestions on a tune

My project is almost done, I have posted the specs below. It will be going off to a tuner for a dyno/driveability tune, but I am concerned that it won't run before that.

Is there any benefit to a mail-order tune or an SCT handheld, or should I just have it towed off to a tuner? If I get a handheld tuner, can they account for everything to make it at least run and be driveable?

Thanks,

Yep.........

What route did you go for this?

I used a local Tuner. I sent him the information he requested. He sent me a base tune via Email. I loaded that to my Xcal2. I flashed my ECC with the base tune. I drove it to the Dyno, where the tuner meet me and did the final tune.

What year of Mustang and what EEC you are using?

It is a 98 Mustang using the stock EEC.

I contacted Justin at VMP to see if he could do something for me. I figured I would need an initial tune to get it running/driveable...then a dyno to even it out. How much did your handheld/chip flash cost?
