1st start after sitting

My car has been sitting longer than I intended while I was saving up for an ABS unit.

I have changed the oil and filter as well as the coolant. I haven't drained the gas but I put in a bottle of fuel system cleaner. What else do I need to do before I start it up?

Do I need to prime the oil pump before I try to start up? What is the best way to do that?

You should be fine....

Turn key on but do not start....

Wait a few seconds then crank the engine up...

Let it idle for a little while and you should be fine....

I've had SCs sit for years and they fired right up with no problems....

Sounds good. I am going to pull the fuel pump fuse and crank on it until see oil pressure. Then I will put the fuel back in and let it really start.
