transmission Swap 3.8 to 5 speed?

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and have a rather involved question. I have 1992 cougar 3.8 Bostonian w/60,000 miles. I've owned it for about a month and it just seems to be screaming for a 5 speed M/T. Is this a bolt up swap aside from brake pedal and firewall and console cutting? has anyone done this with a 3.8 NA in the 92? I have a budget of around 1500-2000 and would do this with 2 sets of hands. Any Input would be great.

I believe TBKHomeworld is the best person to ask for this information; he swapped a 5speed into an SC automatic.. and might know if what you are looking at can be done. It may be hard finding him though.
