So I finally mustered up enough desire to change the totally broken engine mounts in my 89 SC. I went in from the top, removing the left and right brackets and IC tubes with IC itself. I got the driver's side done, got the passenger side torn down and broke out the pressure washer to clean off the years of goop and gunk from leaking valve cover gaskets and road crap. After I changed out the mount, got everything all cleaned off, air dried, I noticed a drip coming from the timing cover wHere it meets the block. Great! I was going to change the valve cover gaskets, but now I have even more bonus work! I get to change the timing cover gasket and water pump gaskets as ell! I totally did not see this coming! Oh well! More work for tomorrow! I think when I pressure washed the cover, I unblocked a gunk/dirt seal! Glad I found it now then after I got it all back together and then drip drip drip!

hey don't feel bad i, in the middle of doing the timing cover also on my 89.
upgrade the balancer and oil pump while your in there if you havn't already
