what's so bad about the cdan4 strategy? I've been doing a lot of reading on eectuning about the cdan4 strategy. everyone says its the worst to use, but no real reason why other than multiple tables and scalars for the same thing..:confused:

Is it worth my time to swap ecu's for a 96 mustang ecu and re-pin the harness?

since this thread never got a response i figure i'd respond

the cdan4 ecu is perfectly fine, its actually my preferred eec-v ecu's, you can do anything you want with them

As Mike said, there is nothing wrong with that strategy. Most of the time when people "don't like" a strategy it is because something is new or different from what they are used to and they don't understand it. The other problem is when something is new or obscure it may not be fully decoded. In the case of CDAN4 it is pretty well decoded and works great.

When it comes to things EEC and tuning related I tend to be vary wary of what "people say". ;)
