Ok looks like the events from this year are starting to air next thursday the 22nd. So I went to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th events. So maybe in 3 weeks you might see some tbird/marauder action on tv. The 3rd one from richmond Nickleman, Sherm and I were there. The one from Maple Grove the 2nd of the 3 episodes you may see some mayhem. ZMAX the 1st of the 3 was Sherm and I.

EDIT: Speeds website says the new shows start airing wednesday the 21st at 9pm, but my dvr says thursday at 8 which is when they used to be on.

Cool. I look forward to seeing your car in action. Especially the runs from zMax back in April.

I've seen the first episode of the season in Dallas. I don't like the changes they've made, especially having it narrated. I do like that they got rid of showing the guy give "thumbs up" for every race.

I watched it too, it seems now they show a lot less of the runs of the contestants who aren't in the final 16/32 group. My slim chance of seeing my car on tv just got slimmer...............

Hopefully as they do the random samplers they choose cars that don't make regular appearances on the circut..

I found this info on the VMP website:

The new season offers many twists and turns, including the first ‘Last Racer Standing’ marathon four-wide finale from zMAX Dragway (Thursday, July 29 @ 8 p.m. ET) and the most controversial show yet from Maple Grove Raceway (Thursday, Aug. 5 @ 8 p.m. ET). If you think you know who won… you don’t.

A hotly contested show from Virginia Motorsports Park (Thursday, Aug. 12 @ 8 p.m. ET)

Looks like this season if you don't make the cut you're not going to be seen. I thought the Kurt Busch thing was pretty cool.

Give that man a cigar. I think the new format is going to get bad viewer reviews and Kurt Busch did have a bad azz car........;)

Yeah I don't think we need to know every episode what the payout is or who the 3 crew guys are. Put some more racing content in there!

I watched the Maple Grove episode last night and I know that dude in the Camaro who jumped in the final to cause a double DQ was pissed at himself. The dude in the Mustang would have won if it wasn't for the brake master cylinder leaking fluid. That dude was pure bad azz off of Rich's arm drop, he had reflexes like a cat........

The new format sucks for viewing though, it's now all about the final 16 and nothing else.........period..........

Its got a totally different feel thats for sure.

With the narative I feel like I'm watching a National Geographic Episode.

Role reversal, the wildlife of the Serengeti are watching the human conflict at the track.
