Replaced the alternator and now the radio does not work... Is there some hidden ground for the radio that I could have disconnected. The clock in the radio does not work also. I checked the fuse but its ok and even swapped out the radio but everything was still the same.. Don't know where to check next. I must have disconnected something but checked everything twice and can't find anything. Anyone have any ideas?? Everything else electrical seems to work fine except the radio???

Check the fuses in the box behind the battery. Maybe one of them blew. When I was working on my dash, I kept blowing the 5A fuse under the hood (due to trying to cut corners and not disconnect the battery like I was supposed to), then.. my radio stopped working. I was pretty bummed out as I thought I'd completely fried it, but turned out to just be the fuse.:o

Where exactly is the 5amp fuse under the hood?

In the power distribution box directly behind the battery.
