Ignition Coil Pack swap?

Hey guys,

I was talking to some other car guys, and they suggested that replacing the ignition coil to something perhaps at 80000 volts would give me better ignition, power and less unburnt gas?

Let me know your thoughts

Thanks

a hotter coil is always a plus, will it make much of a difference on a stock car? probably not so, on a heavily modified car it can make a world of a difference

if you have one slap it on, if not i'd spend the money else where

my car is a little more than stock, just minor stuff really.

bored the block by 0.010, and ported heads, and then just polished crank and cam as usual with low end rebuild.

im getting tons of unburnt gas out the back so makes me think that its not enough spark.

thanks

I think the ignition/fuel system is pretty efficient when working correctly.

There's a component within the system that's not doing the job.
