multifuntion switch?

ok so my windshield wipers do not work at all. but then sometimes my high beams dont work and my turn signals sometimes click off early
 
From the sound of things, your Multifunction Switch is going out. Replace and should be good to go. Unless you can get a used one cheap, I'd just go buy a new one. I had to replace the one on my 94 - got one at O'Rielly's for $45 I think?

Wow that's crazy. I just looked at O'Rielly's website for one for my 90 SC and it's $83 for one.

OK - so maybe a used one might be worth a shot? You may want to verify this, but it looks like it matters whether you have auto headlight dimmer or not.
